Rings of Care is a nonprofit organization committed to assisting and supporting Informal family caregivers.
Each caregiver has different needs and every family is in a different place with their needs. Our organization meets people where they are at in their journey. Whether you are a new caregiver or have been caring for your loved ones for many years.
We have created a platform to support caregivers.
The portal offers a calendaring and narrative for caregivers and the people in their ring of care. The caregiver has the ability to create tasks and calendar them to ask for help in covering tasks. They have control of what they “give away” and only create tasks that they are comfortable with others managing.
Additionally, there is a narrative section where they can share status updates with their ring of care.
Our platform is not HIPPA compliant and caregivers are responsible for the content they share at their personal comfort level

Executive Director
Niki's Bio
Niki is a compassionate and dedicated individual with extensive experience in end-of-life care and support. As an End-of-Life Doula, NODA (No One Dies Alone) Coordinator, Hospice Volunteer, and Board President, Niki has demonstrated her commitment to providing comfort, guidance, and advocacy to individuals and families navigating the challenging journey of end-of-life care.
As the Board Executive Director and Founder of Rings of Care KC, Niki brings her leadership skills and strategic vision to make a meaningful impact on those facing life’s transitions. She actively collaborates with the board members, to make sure the mission is upheld and its services are delivered with the utmost compassion and professionalism.
With a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those facing the end of life, Niki offers unwavering support to clients and their loved ones. She understands that each person’s journey is unique and strives to create a safe and comforting environment for open conversations about wishes, fears, and hopes. Niki’s empathetic nature allows her to be a source of solace during this difficult time, offering a listening ear, emotional support, and practical guidance.
As an End-of-Life Doula, Niki provides non-medical support to individuals and families, ensuring that their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met. She assists in creating personalized care plans, helping clients and their families make informed decisions about their care options, and offering guidance on pain management, comfort measures, and quality of life enhancement.
As the volunteer NODA Coordinator at St. Luke’s East, Niki actively raises awareness and promotes education about death and dying within the community.
In her role as a Hospice Volunteer, Niki works closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide companionship, respite care, and practical assistance to patients and their families. She understands the challenges faced by caregivers and dedicates her time to offering emotional support, resources, and guidance to help alleviate their burdens. Niki believes that caring for the caregivers is essential in ensuring the well-being of both patients and families.
Niki currently serves as a the Vice President of Summit Art and on the board of Lee’s Summit Creates. Her role as the Board President for Rings of Care KC demonstrates her commitment to assisting caregivers, her ability to lead and her passion to inspire others, make her an invaluable asset to the organization and the community at large. Niki’s profound knowledge, empathy, and ability to provide comfort during difficult times has touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on those she has had the privilege to serve.
Rachel Blankenship
President
Rachel's Bio
Rachel’s expertise has been recognized by the Kansas Supreme Court, and she has been accepted into the Missouri Bar pursuant to Rule 17. Her extensive training in bioethics has equipped her with specialized knowledge in providing advanced care planning services.
In addition to her legal and mediation qualifications, Rachel has advanced training in Dispute Resolution, with a focus on Family and Domestic services. Her specialization lies in Bioethical Mediation, a unique approach that aims to facilitate constructive conversations among patients, medical providers, and family members. Rachel’s skill set extends beyond mediation. She is well-versed in the execution of necessary medical and general legal forms, ensuring that all documentation is handled efficiently and accurately. With her extensive experience, specialized training, and commitment to ethical and compassionate mediation, Rachel is well-positioned to assist clients in navigating complex family and medical situations with empathy, professionalism, and expertise.
Her commitment to community service is evident through her involvement as the Board President for MARCH Mediations, active member in the Junior League of Greater Kansas City, MO and volunteering as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), demonstrating her dedication to supporting and advocating for vulnerable individuals.
Rachel also serves as the President of the Rings of Care board, contributing her expertise and leadership to the organization. Rings of Care is a prominent nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support and resources to individuals and families facing challenging medical situations. With her background in law, mediation, and bioethics, Rachel brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to her role. She leverages her expertise to guide the Rings of Care board in making informed decisions and ensuring that the organization remains aligned with its core values and objectives.
Rachel’s commitment to community service and her passion for helping others make her an invaluable asset to the Rings of Care board. Allexus is a dedicated professional with a strong background in finance, bookkeeping, finacial planning, and event planning. Throughout her career, she has provided invaluable assistance to various organizations, and takes great pride in her ability to streamline financial processes, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient financial management. By leveraging her skills and knowledge, she has helped numerous businesses and nonprofits thrive and achieve their goals.
Allexus was drawn to the Rings of Care KC organization because of the unwavering passion they possess in providing assistance to individuals in their time of need. She shares that same fervor for helping those who require support and giving back to the community.
As Treasurer for Rings of Care KC, she brings extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, and financial planning to ensure the organization’s resources are utilized effectively and transparently. She is committed to maintaining accurate financial records, managing funds responsibly, and optimizing financial strategies to maximize the impact of Rings of Care KC’s initiatives.

Victoria Campbell Osborne
Vice President
Victoria's Bio
Victoria is a serial entrepreneur, dedicated to cultivating companies and spaces that prioritize access and diversity.
As CEO of CCM, she provides enterprise management coaching & training and designs strategic plans to help organizations optimize operational and programmatic efficiency. Her past clients include the American Red Cross, The Schmidt Family Foundation, Kansas City G.I.F.T., Girl Scouts of The USA, and
Montgomery County Public Schools.
Victoria is also the founder and owner of The Scented Webb, a boutique offering consumers luxury perfumes and body products with a mission of access, diversity, and affordability, as well as owner and lead teacher at SilverLocks Yoga, a studio providing low and no cost community yoga and wellness classes. Recently named a Small Business Superstar by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and 2023 Best in Business by BLAZE, Victoria’s companies have been featured on CBS News and in The Kansas City Star.
She has previously served as a member on several nonprofit boards and provided board administration and governance for boards at 4-H, BAE Systems, Strathmore, Victim Services, and Philip Morris. She specializes in providing operational and strategic analysis, and coordinating board sponsored programs and events.
When she isn’t meeting with clients, selecting new fragrances, or teaching seniors yoga, Victoria loves spending time with her children, watching murder mysteries, or curating the perfect playlist. She resides in the Kansas City area.
Crystal Dominguez

Crystal's Bio
Crystal is an esteemed board member of Rings of Care KC and an active member of the outreach committee. Her journey towards advocating holistic approaches to optimal health began in 2006 when she received a diagnosis of Ulcerative Colitis (UC). Medical professionals informed her that UC is an incurable disease, and she would need to rely on medications for the remainder of her life. Additionally, they warned of the potential development of colon cancer within a decade of diagnosis.
However, Crystal took a different path. Instead of accepting the prognosis, she embarked on a personal mission to find natural alternatives and holistic methods to address her condition. Through her relentless pursuit of knowledge and experimentation, she successfully cured her Ulcerative Colitis and no longer requires medication. This transformative experience inspired her to dedicate herself to helping others facing similar health challenges.
Crystal boasts over 17 years of experience in herbalism. Her expertise is complemented by a decade of experience as a holistic health coach. She has completed various educational programs and certifications, covering a wide range of topics related to natural healing and wellness. Her areas of specialization include herbal first aid, weight loss, flower essences and emotional health, authentic essential oils, children’s health, cleansing, certified health coaching, being prepared with first-response solutions, mastering moods and emotions, and herbal and nutritional support.
Crystal’s diverse educational background and extensive experience allow her to provide comprehensive guidance and support to individuals seeking holistic approaches to achieve optimal health. Her passion and dedication make her an invaluable asset to Rings of Care KC, where she actively works to promote natural healing methods and empower others on their wellness journeys.
Sith Eng
Board Member
Sith's Bio
Sith is a dedicated healthcare professional with a diverse background in the medical field. Currently serving as a valued member of the Board of Directors for Rings of Care, Sith brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the organization. In addition to her board role, Sith also serves on the fundraising committee, working diligently to secure financial support for the organization’s mission.
Sith’s passion for healthcare began over three decades ago when she started her career as a Medical Transcriptionist and Monitor Technician at TMC-West in 1989. During this time, she honed her skills in medical documentation and monitoring patient vital signs, demonstrating a strong commitment to accuracy and patient care.
In 1997, Sith transitioned to a role as a Cardiovascular Technician at North Kansas City Hospital. Over the course of nine years, she played a crucial role in assisting physicians during various cardiovascular procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and comfort.
Following her tenure at North Kansas City Hospital, Sith embarked on a new challenge as the Lead Trainer at BioLife Plasma Services. For an impressive 15 years, she has overseen the training and development of staff, ensuring compliance with industry standards and providing a nurturing environment for professional growth.
Sith’s dedication to her work extends beyond her professional life. She has been happily married for 34 years and is the proud parent of five children and two grandchildren. Her family serves as a constant source of inspiration and motivation in her pursuit of making a positive impact on the healthcare community.
Sith’s extensive experience, combined with his compassionate nature and unwavering commitment to patient care, make her an invaluable asset to Rings of Care KC. Through her role on the Board of Directors and the fundraising committee, she continues to contribute to the organization’s mission of providing essential support and resources to those in need.
Erica Miller

Erica Miller is a dedicated and compassionate board member for Rings of Care KC. With a strong belief in the power of community and the importance of giving back, Erica has devoted her time and efforts to various philanthropic endeavors.
Erica’s passion for helping others is evident through her extensive volunteer work. She has actively contributed to Coldwater of Lee’s Summit, a local food pantry, recognizing the significance of addressing food insecurity and ensuring that families have access to nutritious meals. Her involvement in Hope House showcases her commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and creating a safe and empowering environment for those facing challenging circumstances.
Recognizing the critical role education plays in shaping the lives of young individuals, Erica has also dedicated her time to serving on the Lee’s Summit school board. Through her role, she has worked diligently to enhance educational opportunities, advocate for students, and ensure that every child receives a quality education.
In addition to her involvement in community organizations, Erica is a passionate advocate for mental health and caregivers. She understands the unique challenges faced by individuals and families dealing with mental health issues and has actively worked to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and promote access to mental health resources. Erica also recognizes the significant contribution of caregivers who selflessly attend to the needs of their loved ones. She advocates for their rights, provides support, and works towards creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for caregivers.
